I love simple things.  Be it a good book, cutting flowers, or singing in the shower, I feel that simple is usually the way to go.  I came across this recipe on Epicurious and thought “hey I have all of that in my pantry.”  Thus, another simple meal was born (and being meat based, I knew the husband was bound to like it).  The lemon juice really helps tenderize the meat.

1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
1/2 teaspoon coarse salt (kosher or sea), or to taste
4 strips of lemon zest
3 cloves garlic, crushed with the side of a cleaver or minced
1/4 cup coarsely chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup coarsely chopped fresh basil, cilantro, dill, oregano, or a mix of all four
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
**I also added about a tablespoon of Worcester sauce

Mix all ingredients together and pour over steaks in a large Ziploc bag (or a bowl and cover with plastic wrap).  Place in the fridge overnight and grill up the next day.  Serve with your favorite veggie, potato dish, etc.

Just to add some additional fun, I caramelized onions and placed them over blue cheese on the steaks—-So good!
