Pablano, Anaheim, Serrano, but no Fresno— I had them all, but I thought these babies would never turn color. I was pleasantly surprised when I was walking in my garden this weekend and saw this:
Fresno peppers were my favorite find this past year. They are my favorite chili to eat raw (e.g. chopped in a salad or dip), and the have the perfect “bring-out-the-flavor-without-killing-you” level of heat. If you’ve never tried one, be sure to check them out next time you’re at the market.
